Ever wonder about visiting a wonderland of history, economy, or famous artists? These interesting facts will be coming from the country Italy. Italy also has unbeatable weather changes all year long and has one of the best educational systems. Enter the lands of Italy.

In the government system of Italy there is two parts in the Parliament house the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. Both parts of the house provides the welfare of its people of Italy, in helping the southern part of Italy to get better job so they can support their family with clothing and goods. The government also changed the law so that large farmlands were divided into smaller portions, that way more of the people could own their own land and sell more goods. But it has been hard to make new jobs for people in different regions since the 1950's because the nationalized industries sold all of their goods.

Etruscans were appeared in central Italy around 800 BC; they came through the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea. Soon after they came to Italy the etrscans were the first to rule the peninsula getting there between the 12th and 8th century BC. Eventually the Roman Empire subsumed within and they left little culture besides their odd caves. A German warrior named Odovacar dubbed himself ruler in A.D. 476. During the time that Odovacar was ruler the empire was divided into eastern and western sectors. Constantine who actually embraced the Christianity in 313, that's also when the empires capital was switched from Rome to Constantine also know as present- day Istanbul. Churches that shared the Christianity probably had the most wonderful art examples like the statues and famous paintings of art.

A great artist who loved to be around animals and was against war, but work as a military engineer to invent the various deadly weapons. He started getting into engineering during his boyhood, this man was Leonardo da Vinci. He was born in 1452 and died 67 years later in 1519. One other of Europe's famous artist is the Galileo, born near Pisa in 1564 was the designer of an improved type of telescope, and died under house arrest by Florence at the age of 68 in 1642. Lorenzo the Magnificent the third member of the Medici Chapel family to rule Florence was a generous support for the arts of Italy.

Amazing leaning Tower of Pisa (a bell tower), built in 1174, was a wonderful piece of work and still is located in Rome. One thing about the leaning Tower or Pisa is that each year it tilts one inch. If you're a shopping type of person Rome's the place to go. From famous elegant to trendy clothes can be found, mostly in the middle of Rome. Some of those stores are Via Condotti, Ponte Vecchio, Duono, and the Uffizi Gallery. There's always time for the untouchable pizza, spaghetti, or the lasagna in your belly.

Italy is one major producers of cheese all right! That's what they use to cook or put on their main meals of the day, dinner. In 1996, Italy's income of services was 61%, agriculture was 7%, and manufacturing industry was 32%. Industry of Italy is split into two economic systems; south based on agriculture and the north is based on industry.

Yes, children all over Italy to go school but may have a few different rules than the system in the U.S.A. Ages six to fourteen attend school from 8:30 in the morning to 1:30 in the afternoon six days per week. Well if you didn't know the well-taught education is paid for by the state. Until the parents put their child in a private school that's a different story, it's not all paid for by the state the moms, dads, or guardians do. We all know after high school comes collage. Students have 59 universities to pick from in 36 other cities in Italy. 1.2 million, about the average of students each year go to those universities. Finally there is a break. During the summer they also have something called summer vacation, but for the unfortunate ones who didn't pass an average grade have to deal with summer school.

August, the vacation times as the Italians call it. Heading towards the snowy or rocky mountains, over seas, or if it's their second home away from home, they all find it time to share with the family. It may just possibly be setting down watching the world sports games, films, cartoons and other programs on the television. Just like Americans, Italians do watch TV; actually over 90% of people in Italy do watch TV. The Fiestas di San Nioola in Bari, San Genara in the Naples, and the Festival of Snakes are yearly festivals in Italy.

Snowstorms in the mountains of Italy north of Po River can be bitterly cold and heavy, and have dry, humid summers, also has very thick fog. Woodlands of Italy, which cover up 1/5 of the country, are made up of pin trees, oak, and shrubs. Animals like the black bears, foxes, roe deer and wolves stroll in types of remote mountain areas. In the Mediterranean Sea there are sharks, tuna, swordfish and anchovies that swim in the land down under.

Earthquake, floods, and volcano eruptions are all deadly types of storms that kill people each year in the world. South east of the Naples earthquake killed more that one thousand people and destroyed many villages in 1980. Most active but still the largest volcano in Europe is called the Etna. An active volcano named Vesuvius is reforming the peninsula by its overflowing lava as the eruption is happening.

Now it comes to the conclusion its been a great time telling my report . Italy still might be struggling in some ways, but have wonderful places to go and people to see. Its a nice spot to spend a vacation especially if your the type of person that is interested in the art, education, or the site seeing of Italy's plane lands.
