The Pressure's On !
So what happens when you turn a cup filled with water upside down? Duh, the water falls out. So what happens when you turn a cup filled with water with a note card on top upside down? Well, if you carefully turn the cup upside down with your hand on the card, then carefully take your hand away from it, you might be surprised. Through this experiment, student learned that the force of air pressure goes in all directions, not just down as many had thought.
